Hello!
I’m Carmen Noel daughter of a landscape architect and of a crafter. I am the maker behind c by carmmarie, a line of artwork involving paper. My work surface is a vintage Vanderbilt dorm desk home "studio" (i.e. dining room) here in Nashville, TN. I begin the artmaking process with paper and enjoy exploring its capabilities, range, and relationship to other media. When I am not in the studio, I am an art teacher who loves running, throwing a ball with my dog, and spending time with my crush-turned-husband, Chris.
